The heavens might have almost broken apart from above, while the angels are glorifying their Lord with praising, and are seeking forgiveness for those who are in the earth; know! Indeed Allah is the oft Forgiving, the Merciful.
If Adhikr, which is mentioned in verse 17 as the Balance and Trust to keep the universe, is not utilised, the seven heavens will be broken and will be fallen above the earth. The time for happening it is very near. Angels don’t seek forgiveness for all in the earth. As explained in verses 40: 7-9, they seek forgiveness only for the believers who try to retain the universe in its equilibrium by testifying and propagating Adhikr. Moreover, Allah, angels and the mankind are cursing the hypocrites and the kuffar who hide Adhikr as explained in verses 2: 159-161. See explanation 16: 1; 22: 65 and 40: 47-50.
